Over the last two decades, Wil Hernandez has conducted literally hundreds of thematic presentations on the spirituality of Henri Nouwen in a variety of formats: seminars, symposia, retreats, as well as online and on-ground courses.

Below you will find a good sampling under each category on a number of topics

offered in the past should anyone be interested in availing such offerings

for any group of any size at anytime in the future.​​

Presentations

SEMINARS

A seminar can range from half a day to a whole day to an overnight or 2 to 3-day event that constitutes  teaching with or without a workshop component with usually an audience of 50-100 people.

MINI RETREATS

Mini retreats can run for a few hours, half or whole day, or for an overnight (or 2 nights) with topic presentation(s), personal reflection, and plenary interaction

and can be face to face or in a virtual format via Zoom.

A symposium is conducted conference-style usually with a lecture followed by  interaction based on a topic or theme and can be done in half a day, one day or a series of progressive talks or presentations.

EXT. RETREATS

This type of extended retreats can run for 3 nights or a weekend (or even weeklong) and follows the basic structure of a one-day retreat except

it offers more content and spacious time for silent reflection.

COURSES

A course can vary from a one-week intensive to a month-long class or a quarterly or semestral format and can be done face to face or purely online or in a hybrid structure (combined virtual and face to face) with a specific focus.

Finding a Spiritual Companion
